MT5 login fails even with correct credentials

Your MT5 platform rejects the login combination you just entered.

Your MT5 platform rejects the login combination you just entered.

Common causes

  1. You reset the password within the last minutes; the new credential is still propagating to the MT5 server.

  2. The server field shows “Invidia-Demo” instead of “Invidia-Live” (or vice-versa).

  3. You typed your email instead of the 7- to 9-digit MT5 login number.

  4. A temporary compliance hold blocks the account.

  5. The MT5 mobile/desktop build is outdated and no longer accepted.

What to check before opening a ticket

  • Copy the exact MT5 login from the Trading Accounts page in your dashboard.

  • Make sure the server field matches the account type: Invidia-Live for real funds, Invidia-Demo for practice.

  • Enter only the login number, not your email, in the “Login” box.

  • Test the same credentials on Web MT5 (mt5.invidiatrade.com) to rule out local app issues.

  • Confirm the account status shows “Active”; if it reads “On Hold,” wait for the compliance email.

  • Close and reopen the platform, then try again after 5 minutes if you just reset the password.

Expected time frames

Password changes sync within 5 minutes. If the account is re-activated after a compliance review, access is restored within 1 hour. Technical tickets are answered within 4 business hours.

When to open a case

If every step above gives the same “Invalid account” or “Authorization failed” message, collect the exact login number, the last timestamp you attempted to log in, and the server name you selected. Then use:

  • Tengo un problema → Cuenta / Acceso MT5
